The Federal Pell Grant
is the largest grant program offered by the U. S. Department of Education.
The Pell Grant is designed for undergraduate students working to their
first bachelor's degree. Pell Grants are not loans and do not have to
be paid back to the government after graduation. The form you will need
to apply for the PELL Grant is the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA). (You should also be prepared to provide copies of many
documents to your college, if requested. Some of these may include: Income
tax returns from you, your spouse, and/or your parents, W-2 forms and
documentation regarding other untaxed income, such as Social Security
and AFDC.) Check below for more Pell grants, student loan, scholarship,
college grants and student loan consolidation.
